Radio Advertising Awards 2007

For the third year running, Smart Telecom has signed up to sponsor the 2007 Radio Advertising Awards. The 2006 event set another record in terms of entries and attendance and was widely viewed as the best ceremony in its 14 year history.

Rhona Bradshaw, Head of Marketing, Smart Telecom, said “This is our third year supporting the Radio Advertising Awards. Radio is a great medium and the Awards have grown in tandem with Smart Telecom’s own growth. We are delighted to be on board once again and look forward to an even better event in 2007.”

Committee chairman John O’Connor, Managing Director of IRS, said: “We are thrilled that Smart Telecom is once again sponsoring the Radio Advertising Awards. The Committee for the 2007 Awards met for the first time last Tuesday (4th July).

The committee represents all Radio Stations opperating in the commercial sphere in the Republic of Ireland.

The Grand Prix Awards for 2006 were;

And the "People's Choice" awards, as voted for by you the public went to;

Dawn Daries, Banana
